Early Evening by Larry S.

This was shot with a Canon T3 and 75mm lens at f/10 for 1/320 at ISO 100.  This combination of aperture, shutter speed and ISO produced the best image.  I like the darkness with the people and animals almost in silhouette, the colors and the clouds.  If I could do it again, I’d move back into the edge of the woods and try and frame the shot with some foliage.

  1. I like how the sky and water mirror each other and lead to a seemingly endless horizon (save for the mountains creating a physical barrier). I like the vertical presence of the people and animals against the immense horizontal component of the photo. Nice depth.
